Exercise are very important to everyone especially moms like me, but commonly for so many reasons this is one of our least priority.
Since I started working out on the gym, I attended boxing and kick boxing classes for at least twice a week. At first, I found it so intense and exhausting, my whole body was sore afterwards. As I keep on doing it, my body learn to adapt and realized that boxing is very good to me – emotionally and physically.
Here are some reasons, why boxing is good for moms like me?
- Boxing helps you release stress and tensions on your body. Punching the bag as hard as you can or as fast as you can boosts body intensity.
- Boxing can make you lose weight or any pregnancy fats as it helps you burn calories and burn more fats. As we grow older and having kids weight gain is a big deal, and worst losing weight is very hard. Boxing really helps.
- Boxing as a form of self-defense. There is no harm on learning new skills especially as a mom, we need to learn how to defend our children from any harmful people. Protecting them will be easy if you know how to fight.
- Boxing is a good cardio. Aside from running or working out in a treadmill, try boxing. This helps strengthen your heart and lungs as well as toning your muscles.
These are just some benefits I learned from taking boxing classes, for sure as I continue doing it will make me better in shape and acquire some skills.
Get up moms, learn some boxing – there are some online classes in YouTube and tips from other websites if getting to the gym is not an option. Boxing is great!
