How can Exercise be Fun for both Adults and Kids?

September 22, 2016 By: Katycomment

Exercise FunWe adults think that exercise is painful and that can be done in the gym, treadmill or by lifting heavy weights.

While for kids it means playing or just being physically active.

Regardless of how it means, exercise should be more fun!

Everyone can benefit from regular exercise especially the kids. They will;

  • build stronger bones and muscles
  • develop better endurance and flexibility
  • less likely to be overweight
  • have a better lifestyle

There are ways to have fun  while doing exercise that is good for both adults and kids which includes;

  1. Playing basketball – this sport can be fun for father and son workout tandem. Put a ring on your front yard and play the ball. Good cardio exercise and skill practice for both of you.
  2. Bicycling – this can be a family daily activity driving around the village, park or community. Helps improves body strength and balance as well.
  3. Walking – we all do this most of the time even at home. But walking along the park with your kids helps you all improve body endurance and develop a very good rapport with your little ones. This can be a good moment to catch up, tell stories and have fun.
  4. Jogging – same as walking, we do this all the time mostly in parks. Kids can a little bit slow down and jog with you. Jogging is also a good cardio and improves body endurance especially a healthy heart.
  5. Running – for as faster phase try running. You can play “tag” with your kids, run away from “it”. Kids love running and surely this will make them pretty much exhausted yet so happy.

Activities such as water surfing, wall climbing, wrestling and other sports are also fun and a great ways to exercise.

Adults spend time to play with your kids, exercise and have fun!

30 Day Squat Challenge for Mom like Me

I found this image circulating the social media these days about a 30 day squat challenge. Squat exercises are very good for leaner thighs and stronger hips.
