8 Foods Fight StressIn our everyday life we can’t avoid to worry, be sad, frustrated and most of the time get so tired from work, environment and even to your relationships. These worries, problems or circumstances drives us to get stress.

What is Stress? What can it do to our life?

Stress is a state of mental or emotional tension from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Stress happens mostly from work where pressure and demanding job occurs.

If we don’t deal with stress properly this will affect our lives especially our health.

How about we deal with it by healthy foods? As such here I listed eight foods that can fight stress;

1.Green Tea – it is loaded with anti-oxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on improving brain function. Healthy brain helps us think clearly and positively which is very useful when you are stress. Positive thinking makes us happy and content. Green tea is a better drink in the morning than coffee.

2. Chocolate – has a good benefit for the heart especially the dark chocolates. This treat help lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and lower risk of heat disease. Some says, it also have some beauty benefits, just eat on moderation if you don’t want to gain weight. Who cannot resist on chocolates? This is a good cheat day snack, people gets happy when they eat chocolates.

3. Blueberry – is rich in fiber which helps lower cholesterol and risk of heart disease. This fruit is also loaded with potassium, folate and vitamin C for the immune system. Blueberries are great for breakfast on pancakes, surely will kick your morning with a good mood.

4. Avocado – it contains potassium like bananas, rich in fatty acids that is good for the heart. Avocado is also delicious and easy to prepare along with your diet meals. If you are on a strict diet, avocado is one of the best options as it loaded with fiber for weight loss.

5. Banana – are very rich in potassium with benefits include relief from stroke, heart and kidney disorder, anxiety and stress. It also helps enhanced metabolism and electrolyte functions. Bananas are good for snacks, healthy and delicious.

6. Salmon – it provides important amount of antioxidant which fights stress. Also good source of protein and  meat substitute in your diet for weight loss.

7. Orange – highly rich in vitamin C for a better immune system. With low risk of getting illnesses such as colds and common coughs, there is much chances of not getting stress too.  You can incorporate this fruit with your daily diet like on salads, fresh juice and many more.

8. Spinach – is one of the best green foods we have. Like salmon, this vegetable is also very rich in antioxidants benefit to fight stress. Spinach also boosts eye health and has strong anti-ageing properties. Looking young will boost someone’s confident and more likely a happy person.

These foods are all good sources of nutrients that is good for the heart, most importantly they are yummy!

A healthy body is a healthy and stress free mind.
