Fruit refreshments are great this summer.
And one of our favorite is Pineapple – a fruit that is a good source of fiber and Vitamin C which helps in digestion and boost immune system.
For almost everyday, we try to make fruit juices or shakes to keep us healthy.
This drink can be your meal if you are on a diet like me.
Here is our simple pineapple refreshment recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cups of pineapple (chopped in chunks)
1 banana (sliced)
4 tbsp. of strawberry yogurt
1 cup of milk
1 cup of ice or cold water
1 tbsp. raw honey (optional)
Put all ingredients in a blender and serve. Enjoy!
There are so many fruits to add on this recipe like kiwi or any other berries as you wish. You can also add some protein shake powder for some energy boost especially after working out.
TIP: Buy frozen fruits in the market as it will stay or serve longer, and no need to add ice.
