We run as a family and we mostly do it in the park.
Every chance we get and if the weather permits, we do running on our neighborhood park. It is a big park, lots of people running and biking, and the trails are long connecting to other parks in the city. It is the closest to nature that you can get if you live in a city, where there are a lot of tress, birds and you can even cross some streams or rivers.
We do running a lot especially if we have a race coming. Gladly with a jogging stroller it helps the kids once they got tired. We do minimum of 2 miles and a maximum of 4, and usually do it in the afternoon.
Running is a good cardio exercise, it will help strengthen your heart and improves breathing exercise which is needed on a race.
Running with kids is fun and more exciting, as you either get to see them trying their best running as far as they can or you can see them sleeping along the way. It is such family fun thing to do.
