Sweet Corn or also called sugar corn is a good source of energy as it rich in carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and minerals.
We are Asians so rice is a staple food but since I am on a diet, sweet corn is a good substitute for rice. I boiled it for 15 minutes (steaming is better though), let it cool and enjoy it. This is good with main dishes or just have it as a snack. Sweet corn is known for high sugar content so don’t eat too much.
My eldest son loves sweet corn which makes me happy as he is not a big fan of vegetables or grains. I just keep on giving them these kind of foods over and over until they’ll try it and eventually liking it.
